Generation Next

Welcome to GENXT, an extension to the teenage culture from Columbia World Outreach Church. We are so glad that you have been lead by the Holy Spirit to visit us today. We exist to make disciples of all teenagers so they can be now and future labors in the Lord’s Harvest field. Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28: 18-20 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Matthew 9:37-38

Here at GENXT, along side parents, strive to instruct teenagers in the fear and admonition of the Lord. We strongly encourage teenagers to “honor their father and mother” as the bible instructs. We believe that this generation is capable by God’s saving grace to follow Jesus Christ with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. We challenge them to walk in purity in their hearts and in their relationship’s with the opposite sex. Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” 2 Timothy 2:22 We acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the only one who builds the church so we just come along side Him and do as He commands us.

We focus on Prayer, Evangelism, Study of God’s Word and Fellowship. GENXT is committed to leading young people to know their God and not live on the "coat-tails" of their parent’s faith. In our country today we have an epidemic of teenagers who do not have their own conviction and faith upon Jesus Christ. That’s why we see many teenagers leaving the faith when they get into college. Jesus said,” I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again;" John 3:3 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” John 3:5 This generation must understand that they a not born again on the basis of association, their church attendance, baptism in water, but by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. With God’s help we will preach the gospel to this generation until He returns.
